The point of departure and arrival is located next to the old Macieira building, in Maxial, and the walker must choose the distance to travel.

Traditional windmills, wind turbines, an old quarry, horses, religious heritage, forests and agricultural fields populate the beautiful landscapes of this walking path that passes through places such as Casais da Capela, Casais de Santo António, Alto da Folgarosa, Vila Seca, Ereira, Carrascal and Sestearia. In higher places you can see other parishes and municipalities, the Serra de Montejunto and, on clear days, the sea.
