This is an 8km long linear path, which connects Assenta and the Foz do Lizandro beach, starting at the Interpretation Centre of the Foz Azul Natural Reserve. 

The route ends at the Foz do Lizandro beach, where the river mouth is (hence its name), and where there is also a small estuary that matches one of the main humid areas on the coastline north from Lisbon.
