Tholos do Barro has a sepulchral chamber with a circular plan about six meters in diameter, formed by large limestone blocks, covered in a false dome (= tholos), which is accessed through a corridor of approximately four meters. Its construction was totally surrounded by mamoa - or tumulus -, making about thirteen meters in diameter.

From this "tholos", there are various fragments of vases, cylindrical idols, smooth phalanx idols, calaite beads, an arrow of the Palmela type in copper and a dagger of this same material, among others.
